To promote her huge-selling I'm Your Baby Tonight album, in April 1991 Whitney Houston embarked on a world tour of the same name.

Though ticket sales weren't always stellar, the shows were musically rewarding, finding her rearranging some of her best-known songs, adding elements of funk, experimenting with tempos and leaving room for improvisation.
