When this legendary show was recorded, the Velvet Underground were in a state of flux.

Founding member John Cale had just departed, and his replacement Doug Yule had only been in the band for two days. Nonetheless, the quartet turned in a superb performance, including several then unreleased songs (with alternative lyrics) and plenty notable guitar soloing, making it essential for VU devotees.
