After years as a leading studio musician, Leon Russell found fame in 1969 as a member of Delanet & Nonnie's band, before serving as musical director for Joe Cocker's fabled Mad Dogs & Englishmen tour in 1970
This superb live set was broadcast on KCET-TV in L.A. at the end of the year, and finds him on relaxed form, backed by a superb band he knew inside out.
