Fillmore West Final Farewell, July 4th 971, featuring Santana, Michael Bloomfield, John Cipollina, Vince Guaraldi, Jack Casady and Tower of Power

When the Fillmore West closed on July 4, 1971, many musicians from top San Francisco Bay Area acts took the stage to jam as a grand farewell to the famed venue.

The event was broadcast on KLSX-FM and this two-disc set presents highlights from those performances, in which stars such as Santana, Michael Bloomfield, John Cipollina, Vince Guaraldi, Jefferson Airplane bassist Jack Casady and the Tower of Power horn section took part.
