The Hoodoo Gurus live from First Avenue Theater, Minneapolis on 9th October 1991
Hoodoo Gurus' peak of popularity was undoubtedly in the mid-to-late 1980s with the albums Mars Needs Guitars! Blow Your Cool! And Magnum Cum Louder, the album that closed the decade and announced a new line-up in Dave Faulkner, Brad Shepherd, Mark Kingsmill and Rick Grossman.
However, the 1990s found the band back in Minneapolis promoting their new album Kinky alongside six years of back catalogue classics. Their new garage-rock hybrid found favour with fans worldwide and followed in the footsteps of The Saints and Radio Birdman, making the Gurus most welcome here.
Klondike proudly presents the entire KXLV-FM broadcast of The Hoodoo Gurus live from First Avenue Theater, Minneapolis on 9th October 1991.
