Grammy-award winner and six-time Grammy nominee, Peter Rowan is a singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades.

From his early years playing under the tutelage of Bluegrass veteran Bill Monroe, to his time with Jerry Garcia in Old & In the Way, Earth Opera and Sea Train and his breakout as a solo artist, Rowan has built a devoted, international fan base through a solid stream of record releases, collaborative projects and constant touring.

While alienated from the traditional bluegrass crowd due to their innovative approach to the music form, Peter Rowan's Free Mexican Airforce have also been dubbed 'the most significant acoustic country band in the USA', an accolade enforced by the presence of music legend Sam Bush.

Hotspur proudly presents a very special performance from the bluegrass legend with his appearance alongside the Free Mexican Airforce at the 15th Anniversary Telluride Festival in June 1988.

Professionally re-mastered original KGNU-FM broadcast with background liners and rare archival photos.
