Lynyrd Skynyrd live at The Ritz, New York on 6th September 1988
In 1987, ten years after the plane crash that tragically claimed the lives of two founder members, Lynyrd Skynyrd bowed to pressure and reformed, with their late singer Ronnie Van Zant's brother Steve on vocals. The line-up also featured five members of the 70s band - crash survivors Gary Rossington, Billy Powell, Leon Wilkeson and Artimus Pyle, as well as former guitarist Ed King.
Originally broadcast on WNEW-FM, the show captured here finds them on thrilling form and is presented here together with background notes and images.
