Revitalised after a two-year hiatus, in November 1979 ZZ Top released the Platinum-selling Degnello album and launched their Expect No Quarter tour, which saw Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill debut their chest-length beards.

The superb show featured here was broadcast on WNEW-FM and finds them on fiery form as they tear through a selection of new material and older classics.
